Elk Grove Crash at Grant Line Road and Calvine Road Seriously Injures 1

Elk Grove, California (July 8, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a traffic collision at an intersection in Elk Grove Wednesday night.

The major injury motorcycle crash was reported at approximately 8:25 p.m. at Grant Line Road and Calvine Road.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, two unidentified people riding a motorcycle crashed with a black Toyota Tacoma at the Elk Grove intersection under unclear circumstances.

One of the riders sustained major injuries and was taken to an area hospital for medication.

The accident resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.

An investigation into the collision is underway.
