Eliseo Ramirez-Gomez Critically Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Adobe Road in Sonoma County
Eliseo Ramirez-Gomez ID’d as Petaluma Man Hospitalized after Sonoma County Car Crash on Adobe Road near Davis Lane
Sonoma County, California (January 15, 2021) – Eliseo Ramirez-Gomez, 67, Petaluma, has been identified as the man who was critically injured in a Thursday evening multi-vehicle crash in Penngrove, Sonoma County, authorities said.
The major injury four-vehicle accident happened at about 4:15 p.m., on January 14, on Adobe Road near Davis Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevy Cruze, driven by Ramirez-Gomez, was headed westbound on Adobe Road, approaching the intersection at Davis Lane when it rear-ended a Toyota Rav4.
The Toyota was reportedly stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Adobe Road and Davis Lane at the time.
The crash impact pushed the Toyota crashing into the back of a Toyota Yaris, which then was pushed into the back of a Toyota Scion. The two vehicles were also stopped at the stop sign.
Eliseo Ramirez-Gomez Injured in Crash on Adobe Road
Ramirez-Gomez suffered major injuries and was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Ramirez-Gomez was determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, and he was placed under arrest.
The Rav4 driver suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized. The other drivers were not injured.
