Eileen Morales ID’d as Woman Killed in Lancaster Crash on Avenue J near 70th Street

Lancaster, California (March 10, 2021) – The woman who died Saturday afternoon following a head-on collision in Lancaster has been identified as Eileen Morales, 76, of Littlerock.
According to California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash occurred at about 12:20 p.m. Saturday, March 6, on Avenue J, just east of 70th Street East.
The CHP said a Chevy Impala, driven by Joshua Dumas, 44, of Lancaster, was heading eastbound on Avenue J when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle drifted into the opposite lane, where it collided head-on with a westbound 1999 Buick Regal, driven by Morales.

Morales was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Dumas was also taken to Antelope Valley Hospital with moderate injuries.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
