Eduardo Sandoval ID’d as Driver Killed in Rialto Crash at Baseline Road and Sycamore Avenue

Rialto, California (October 20, 2020) – Authorities have identified the driver who died in a traffic accident involving a stolen vehicle Saturday afternoon in Rialto as Eduardo Sandoval, 35, of San Bernardino.
The deadly crash, which was reported at about 5:35 p.m. Saturday, October 17, happened at the intersection of Baseline Road and Sycamore Avenue.
As per the report, a 1995 Acura Integra, driven by Sandoval, collided with two other vehicles at the Rialto intersection.
The Acura had been reported stolen from the parking lot of a laundromat in the 400 block of West Baseline, authorities said.
First responders arrived at the scene and found Sandoval unconscious as a result of the crash. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The other two drivers suffered minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
