Earlimart, California (August 4, 2019) – A female pedestrian sustained major injuries when she was struck by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Earlimart, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The Highway 99 accident occurred at about 2:22 a.m. in the northbound lanes just south of Avenue 72.
As per the report, a woman was standing in the middle of the roadway when she was hit by a car. A motorcycle and another car also collided at the same time and scene.
The female pedestrian sustained major injuries in the crash. Minor injuries were sustained in the motorcycle accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.
The incidents forced the closure of all northbound lanes for an unknown period.
