Dylan Orsburn Injured in Highway 33 Motorcycle Accident near Kerto Road in Maricopa
Maricopa, California (March 24, 2020) – Dylan Orsburn, 24, of Taft was seriously injured when his motorcycle collided with a car Saturday night on a highway in Maricopa, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident took place at about 8:18 p.m. March 21, on Highway 33, just north of Kerto Road.
CHP said Orsburn was riding a motorcycle southbound on Highway 33 when he swerved across the double yellow lines and sideswiped an oncoming Dodge Ram pickup.
Dylan Orsburn Injured in Maricopa Motorcycle Crash
Orsburn was wearing a helmet and was airlifted to Kern Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver of the pickup, William Blize, 74, of Maricopa, was uninjured.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to be factors in the incident.
CHP is investigating the crash.
