1 Seriously Injured in Dunsmuir Motorcycle Crash on Northbound 5 Freeway
Dunsmuir, California (July 23, 2019) – At least one person was seriously injured in a traffic collision involving two vehicles and a Motorcycle in Dunsmuir Sunday night, according to California Highway Patrol report.
The crash, which was reported at about 8:21 p.m. July 21, occurred on northbound 5 Freeway near Railroad Park Road and Crag View Drive.
As per the CHP report, the accident happened when a motorist driving recklessly, lost control, and then t-boned a vehicle that was towing a trailer on the roadway. A motorcycle was also involved in the accident. The vehicles involved in the wreck were described as a white Toyota Tacoma and silver Nissan Sentra.

One person was reported to have sustained major injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by paramedics and then rushed to the hospital for further treatment.
The identity and current condition of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
