2 Hospitalized after Dublin Crash on 580 Freeway near Grant Line Road
Dublin, California (January 2, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision Wednesday morning in the area of Dublin, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at around 6:42 a.m. on Wednesday on westbound 580 Freeway, just west of Grant Line Road.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. Two people were reportedly transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The victims’ names and current condition were not immediately available.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the crash site.
Authorities closed lanes No. 1 and 2 following the collision.
