Dublin Accident on Interstate 580 Freeway near Schaefer Ranch Road Results in Minor Injuries
Dublin, California (February 1, 2020) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Dublin Monday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol stated.
The minor injury crash was reported at about 2:05 p.m. on the I-580 Freeway near Schaefer Ranch Road.
The accident involved a small Toyota pickup truck and a silver Lexus sedan or SUV that crashed on the interstate for reasons still under investigation.
Officials said one of the vehicles possibly slammed into the rear of the other at the time of the crash.
Due to the impact, the pickup acquired moderate rear-end damage while the Lexus rolled over onto its roof in the No. 1 lane.

The wreck resulted in minor injuries to an unspecified number of victims.
