Male Driver Dies in San Ramon Car Accident on Canyon Road near Bollinger Canyon Road
San Ramon, California (August 24, 2020) – A male driver died following a head-on crash Saturday afternoon in San Ramon, according to a press release by the California Highway Patrol’s Castro Valley office.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:15 p.m. Saturday, August 22, on Crow Canyon Road, just west of Bollinger Canyon Road.
The CHP said a vehicle was traveling northbound on Crow Canyon Road at an unspecified speed toward San Ramon when, for unknown reasons, it drifted across the double-yellow lines and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.

The driver of the first car died at the scene. The name of the victim has not been diclosed pending notification of family.
Crow Canyon Road was blocked following the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
