1 Killed in Fresno Car Crash on Minnewawa Avenue near Shepherd Avenue
Fresno, California (November 7, 2020) – At least one person was killed in a head-on collision that happened near Clovis in Fresno on Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at about 5:30 a.m. on Minnewawa Avenue near Shepherd Avenue.
A 2002 Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Minnewawa when it drifted into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2014 Cadillac SRX.
The 30-year-old driver of the CRV was injured in the accident and was transported to Clovis Community Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
The Cadillac driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
