Douglas City, California (February 10, 2021) – A traffic collision involving a single vehicle in Douglas City Tuesday left two people with serious injuries, a local news source reported.
The California Highway Patrol said the major injury crash took place on Highway 3, near Deer Lick Springs Road, in Trinity County.
A Dodge Charger, with three occupants, reportedly swerved off the highway and plunged nearly 200 feet below the road in a heavily wooded ravine.
2 People Suffer Major Injuries in Douglas City Accident
Two people were rushed to an area hospital for medication.
As per the CHP report, the third occupant was not found at the crash site.
