27-Year-Old Dionica Vega Killed in Fallbrook Car Accident on 15 Freeway
Fallbrook, California (June 4, 2019) –27-year-old Dionica Vega has been identified as the woman who died in a traffic collision that involved two vehicles in Fallbrook Thursday evening, according to a California Highway Patrol
The fatal crash was reported at approximately 6:10 p.m.May 30, on the southbound Interstate 15 between Mission Road and Stewart Canyon Road.
The accident happened when an SUV driven by Vega crashed head-on with another vehicle on the roadway. Due to the impact of the collision, Vega’s flew off” the right side and overturned multiple times down an embankment.
The collision resulted in death to life-threatening injuries to Vega. She was rushed to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido where she pronounced dead died later that day at 8:11 pm.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the leading cause of the deadly collision.
