Dinuba, California (April 3, 2019) – A driver was hospitalized after a rear-end crash Tuesday afternoon in the area of Dinuba, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 4:06 p.m.  Tuesday, April 2, at Avenue 384 and Road 56.

As per the CHP officials, a semi-truck was hit by a car from behind for unknown reasons. The impact caused the truck to overturn.

The truck operator appeared to be disoriented as a result of the crash. Responding emergency teams transported the man to Reedley Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The patient’s names and their current condition were not immediately disclosed.

Details concerning the driver of the smaller vehicle involved in the crash were not immediately available.

Officials closed the intersection to give way to an on-scene investigation and a clearing operation.
