Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Descanso Motorcycle Accident at Highway 79 and Viejas Boulevard
Descanso, California (May 24, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Saturday morning following a traffic collision in Descanso, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury accident, which was reported at about 11:11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, happened in the area of Highway 79 and Viejas Boulevard near the Guatay community.
The motorcyclist collided with a car o02+n Highway 79 near the intersection with Viejas Boulevard, the CHP report states.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported by emergency responders to a local hospital. The name and current condition of the rider were not available.
Highway 79 in the area was blocked as the investigation and cleanup took place.
The crash remains under investigation.
