Deputy Hospitalized after Santa Clarita Crash at Creekside Avenue and McBean Parkway
Santa Clarita, California (April 29, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday morning traffic accident that left a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department motorcycle deputy seriously injured in Santa Clarita.
The major injury accident occurred at about 7:20 a.m., on April 28, at Creekside Avenue and McBean Parkway.
According to the police, a semi-truck did a left-hand turn right in and failed to yield for the oncoming traffic.
Unfortunately, the rider reportedly collided head-on with the 18-wheeler.
The deputy was taken to a hospital in critical but stable condition. He was on duty at the time of the crash.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
