David Loux Injured in Fatal Head-On Crash on Minnewawa Avenue in Clovis
David Loux Hospitalized after Clovis Accident on Minnewawa Avenue near Shepherd Avenue
Fresno, California (November 8, 2020) – David Loux, 83, was injured after being involved in a head-on collision Saturday morning near Clovis in Fresno.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, on Minnewawa Avenue near Shepherd Avenue.
A 2002 Honda CRV was traveling southbound on Minnewawa when it drifted into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2014 Cadillac SRX driven by Loux.
The 30-year-old driver of the CRV was injured in the accident and was transported to Clovis Community Medical Center, where he died while undergoing treatment.
Loux was hospitalized with minor injuries.
It is undetermined if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
