David Lopez ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Palmdale Traffic Accident on Angeles Forest Highway near Vincent View Road

Palmdale, California (November 4, 2020) – David Lopez, 53, of Sylmar, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a head-on traffic collision on Sunday afternoon in Palmdale, authorities said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 1:15 p.m., on November 1, on Angeles Forest Highway, south of Vincent View Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2003 Harley-Davidson, operated by Lopez, was headed northbound on the highway when it collided head-on with a 2007 Ford F-150 pickup.
The southbound pickup truck, driven by Michael Deangelis, 55, of Littlerock, entered the northbound lane, where it collided with the motorcycle, officials said.

Sadly, Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deangelis sustained minor injuries in the accident.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
