Daniel Picazo ID’d as Man Killed in Selma Train Crash near Golden State Boulevard and S. Nebraska Avenue
Selma, California (January 7, 2020) – The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a train on the tracks near Selma on Saturday afternoon has been identified as Daniel Picazo, 55, of Selma.
According to the Selma Police Department, the crash was reported at about 1:30 p.m. January 4 near Golden State Boulevard and S. Nebraska Avenue.
Police said Picazo was wearing earphones while walking on the tracks and could not hear the train coming.

Picazo died in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
