Daniel Bruno Killed in Red Bluff Car Accident on Paskenta Road
Daniel Bruno Identified as 1 of 2 Killed in Car Crash on Paskenta Road near Rancho Tehama Road in Red Bluff
Red Bluff, California (June 4, 2020) – Daniel Bruno, 26, of Elk Grove, has been identified as one of the two people who were killed Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Red Bluff.
The fatal crash occurred at around 4:27 p.m. Monday, June 1, on Paskenta Road, just south of Rancho Tehama Road.
According to the authorities, Bruno was speeding southbound on Paskenta Road in a 2001 Honda Civic when he lost control while trying to negotiate a turn in the road.
As a result, Bruno’s vehicle skidded sideways directly in the path of a 2003 Ford E250 utility van that was heading northbound. The Honda was hit on the passenger’s side by the Ford.
The force of the impact split the Honda nearly in half. The Honda was reported stolen from a residence on Humboldt Drive in Rancho Tehama, authorities said.

Bruno and his female passenger were killed in the accident.
According to witnesses, the Ford driver, an unidentified man, exited the vehicle after the accident and fled the scene in a white Honda before the emergency crews arrived. The white Honda was occupied by a driver and one passenger.
