Crystal Haight Killed in Oroville Car Accident on Highway 70 near Cox Lane

Oroville, California (January 22, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a woman who was killed in a car accident in Oroville on Sunday evening, January 20.
The deceased was identified as 20-year-old Crystal Haight of Marysville.
According to a local news source, the fatal collision occurred on Highway 70 near Cox Lane at about 6:30 p.m.
As per the report, Haight was driving a white car northbound when she lost control of the car and veered across the centerline and into the opposite lanes. The car then collided head-on with a southbound car.
Haight was killed in the collision while her 18-year-old passenger was seriously injured in the collision.
Two elderly occupants of the second car were also seriously injured in the collision and were flown to a local hospital for treatment.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
