Crescent Mills, California (May 6, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a rear-end collision in Crescent Mills, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The major injury collision happened just after 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, on State Route 89 at Pioneer Road.

According to the CHP, a big rig slammed into the back of a gray Lexus car for unknown reasons on State Route 89.

One person was ejected from the Lexus upon the impact. The two vehicles became disabled off the roadway following the wreck.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and provided medical aid to all parties involved. The medics later determined that a woman in the Lexus suffered major injuries in the crash.
