At Least 1 Hospitalized after Corning Crash on Highway 99 near Gallagher Avenue
Corning, California (November 19, 2020) – At least one person was hospitalized following a traffic accident involving a truck Thursday afternoon on a highway in Corning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
As per the CHP report, the crash happened at around 12:41 p.m. on Highway 99 near Gallagher Avenue.
A big rig collided with a white Dodge Ram pickup truck for unknown reasons on Highway 99, the CHP report states.
The Dodge sustained major front-end damage and was towed from the scene.
Authorities said at least one patient was taken to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. Their names and current condition were not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
