Minor Injuries Reported in Contra Costa Accident on Highway 24 and Fish Ranch Road
Contra Costa, California (February 13, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-car collision early Wednesday morning in the area of Contra Costa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 3:42 a.m. Wednesday, on westbound Highway 24 at Fish Ranch Road.
For reasons still under investigation, two vehicles crashed, according to authorities.
An ambulance unit was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the collision. The roadway was cleared as of 4:29 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
