Contra Costa, California (April 26, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning in Contra Costa, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 1:48 a.m. Friday, April 25, on eastbound Highway 4, just west of San Marco Boulevard.

As per the officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

Traffic delays were experienced in the area.
