Minor Injuries Sustained in Concord Crash on Interstate 680 near Highway 242
Concord, California (February 24, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a motorcycle accident that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Concord, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 2:22 p.m. on February 23, authorities received a report of a motorcycle that had crashed into the rear of a vehicle on northbound Interstate 680, just south of Highway 242.
Several motorists were stopping to assist the victims.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed that only minor injuries were sustained.
At least one traffic lane was closed for about half-an-hour following the incident.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
