At Least 1 Injured in Concord Crash near Willow Pass Road On-Ramp to Interstate 680
Concord, California (May 5, 2021) – At least one person was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a traffic crash involving two vehicles in Concord, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Shortly after 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, the authorities received a report about the accident near the Willow Pass Road onramp to northbound Interstate 680.
The CHP said a sedan and a minivan collided for unknown reasons on the roadway. The impact caused the minivan to overturn.
Car Crash in Concord
At least one person was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The name and condition of the victim at this time were not immediately disclosed.
The freeway onramp was closed for nearly one hour due to the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation.
