Colfax, CA: 1 Injured in Head-On Car Crash at Rollins Lake and Glen Elder Roads
1 Hospitalized after Colfax Car Crash at Rollins Lake Road and Glen Elder Road
Colfax, California (January 11, 2021) – One person was hurt in a Colfax car crash that happened Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Rollins Lake Road and Glen Elder Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Ford collided head-on with another vehicle at about 12:20 p.m. at the intersection for unknown reasons.
Authorities said the driver of one of the vehicles was injured and required to be taken to the hospital. The extent of their injuries was, however, not mentioned.
At least one tow truck was needed to remove the victim’s car from the scene.
The crash left the roadway closed for approximately an hour, the report said.
CHP is investigating the incident.
