1 Killed, 2 Hospitalized after Clearlake Oaks Car Crash on Highway 53 at Oglin Canyon Road
Clearlake Oaks, California (September 1, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a Clearlake Oaks car crash that happened Tuesday morning, leaving one person dead and two others hospitalized.
Three vehicles collided at about 9:16 a.m. on Highway 53 at Oglin Canyon Road for unknown reasons.
Clearlake Police Department officers responded to the scene and advised that extrication was required.

The roadway was completely blocked to allow rescue crews to perform their duties.
One person was killed in the accident, and two others were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
The report did not mention the cause or manner of the crash, but an investigation is ongoing.
