Person Killed in Chula Vista Motorcycle Crash on Broadway and F Street
Chula Vista, California (February 9, 2019) – A man was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident involving a vehicle in Chula Vista on Friday morning, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.
The crash took place just before 6 a.m. February 8 on Broadway and F Street.
Police said the rider was heading north on Broadway on a green light when he collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn on a circular green.
The emergency crews responded to the incident and found the victim in the roadway.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver and passenger of the vehicle involved sustained minor injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
According to the police, drugs and alcohol were unlikely factors in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
