54-Year-Old Man Killed in Chula Vista Motorcycle Crash on Broadway and F Street
Chula Vista, California (February 9, 2019) – A fatal motorcycle accident involving a vehicle left a man dead in Chula Vista on Friday morning, according to the Chula Vista Police Department.
The crash took place just before 6 a.m. February 8 on Broadway and F Street.
Police said the 54-year-old man was riding northbound on Broadway on a green light when he collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn at the intersection.
The emergency crews responded to the incident and found the victim in the roadway.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two occupants of the other vehicle involved sustained minor injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
Police are investigating the crash.
