Chula Vista, California (February 1, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a wrong-way traffic accident that resulted in the death of two victims on Saturday morning in Chula Vista.
The multi-vehicle collision happened on southbound Interstate 5 near the J Street and Bay Boulevard at around 5:00 a.m.
The accident involved a vehicle that was heading northbound in the southbound lanes and several other vehicles.

Sadly, two unidentified victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
