CHP Officer Injured in Roseville Motorcycle Crash at Sierra College Boulevard and Roseville Parkway
Roseville, California (February 5, 2021) – A California Highway Patrol motorcycle officer was injured in a head-on collision with an SUV in Roseville on Friday morning.
The accident happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Sierra College Boulevard at Roseville Parkway.
The authorities said a 27-year-old woman was driving a 2016 Ford Explorer northbound on Sierra College Boulevard and was making a turn at the intersection when it collided head-on with the motorcycle that was traveling southbound on Sierra College.
The officer was ejected from his motorcycle.
The officer suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment.
The Chevy driver was unhurt.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
