1 Hospitalized after Chowchilla Accident at Road 10 and Avenue 21
Chowchilla, California (July 22, 2021) – A traffic collision involving two vehicles at an intersection in Chowchilla Wednesday morning sent one person to the hospital.
The major injury accident happened in the area of Road 10 and Avenue 21 at approximately 11:40 a.m.
The accident involved a UPS truck and a pickup truck that crashed at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
Due to the impact, the pickup overturned near Avenue 22.
Major Injury Chowchilla Accident
As per the California Highway Patrol report, one person sustained major injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for medication.
Officials shut down the intersection as they investigated and cleared the scene.
