Child Injured in Chowchilla Scooter Crash at 7th Street and Humboldt Avenue
Chowchilla, California (October 8, 2019) – A scooter rider was injured in a crash involving a hit-and-run driver on Tuesday morning in Chowchilla, according to the police.
The crash happened shortly after 8:00 a.m. at 7th Street and Humboldt Avenue.
Police said a child was riding a scooter in the area when a silver Ford Focus struck them.

The child was transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
The driver of the Ford fled the scene after the incident.
Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver.
