Chico, California (July 26, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized Monday afternoon following a traffic accident involving two vehicles in Chico, according to the Chico Police Department.

The two-vehicle crash happened shortly before 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of East 9th Avenue and Mangrove Avenue.

Police said a  white Dodge SUV collided with a black Jeep at the intersection. Details on what led up to the collision at this time are unknown.
