Cheng-Yen Lee Dies after Santa Clara Car Accident on Scott Boulevard at Jay Street
Santa Clara, California (May 11, 2019) – A man who was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in Santa Clara has succumbed to his injuries, according to the authorities.
The victim, identified as Cheng-Yen Lee, 28, of San Jose, died after the collision that happened at about 11 a.m. May 8, on Scott Boulevard at Jay Street.
As per a police report, Lee was stopped in a Nissan Altima at a light on Scott Boulevard and Jay Street when he was rear-ended by a GMC Acadia.

Lee and the two occupants of the Acadia were transported to a hospital, where Lee succumbed to his injuries on Friday, May 10.
Police said the driver of the Acadia suffered a medical emergency just before the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
