1 Injured in Cerritos Pedestrian Crash on Highway 91 near Carmenita Road
Cerritos, California (December 18, 2020) – A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon on Highway 91 in Cerritos, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP said at around 5:17 p.m., a female Asian with a red top and black pants ran into traffic lanes on northbound Highway 91, just west of Carmenita Road when she was struck by at least one car.
Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the scene to help the victim who sustained minor injuries.
The report also added that a party in a gray Toyota Rav4 called authorities reporting that their vehicle had collided with a black Ford Mustang due to a pedestrian walking into traffic lanes.
It was not clear if there were injuries in that crash or which car hit the pedestrian.
Officers are investigating to establish what led to the accident.
