Modesto, California (November 2, 2020) – A 51-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Modesto on Saturday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of South Ninth Street and Lombardo Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. October 31.

The authorities said 56-year-old Daniel Barron, off Modesto, was driving a 2007 Chevrolet southbound on Ninth when he made a left turn into the path of a southbound 1995 Harley-Davidson.

The motorcycle struck the right rear of the vehicle.

The rider, identified only as a Ceres resident, was transported to Doctors Medical Center for treatment.

Barron was unhurt.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
