Minor Injuries Sustained in Cayucos Accident on Highway 1 near Villa Creek Road
Cayucos, California (March 14, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic collision that took place Sunday morning in Cayucos, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to CHP, the incident occurred at about 7:56 a.m. on northbound Highway 1, just north of Villa Creek Road.
A blue Toyota Prius collided with a white Chevrolet Malibu for unknown reasons. The Chevy went off the roadway into a fence after the impact.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to find the motorists with minor injuries. The victims were treated at the scene, and none was hospitalized.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
