Castaic, California (July 4, 2021) – One person was hospitalized early Thursday morning following a traffic collision involving a semi-truck in Castaic, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at about 3:30 a.m. Thursday, July 1, on 5 Freeway near Lake Hughes Road.
The CHP said the semi-truck collided with another vehicle on the freeway. After the collision, one of the vehicles went down an embankment.
