Man Killed, Another Injured in Palmdale Collision at 30th Street West and Montera Avenue

Palmdale, California (July 4, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured Friday afternoon in a traffic collision in Palmdale, according to authorities.
The deadly crash occurred at about 2:25 p.m. Friday, July 2, near the intersection of 30th Street West and Montera Avenue.
Authorities said a white Porsche Cayenne was heading southbound on 30th Street West when, for an unknown reason, it collided with a Green Ford Mustang that was making a left turn from northbound 30th Street West onto Montera Avenue.
Deadly 2-Vehicle Crash in Palmdale
The driver of the Ford Mustang, a 65-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
A 49-year-old Palmdale man, who was the driver of the Porsche, sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The area of 30th Street West and Montera Avenue was blocked due to the crash.
