Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Carmel Valley Crash at Carmel Valley and Cachagua Roads
Monterey County, California (July 1, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday evening in a traffic accident at an intersection in Carmel Valley, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday, June 30 in the area of Carmel Valley and Cachagua roads.
CHP said a car collided with a motorcycle for an unknown reason at the Carmel Valley intersection.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and fond the rider lying down on the ground and
Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the rider lying on the ground and suffering from major injuries following the crash. The victim was then taken to the hospital to be treated for possible broken ribs.
The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.
It was immediately unclear if the driver of the vehicle involved stopped or was injured as a result of the crash.
No further details were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
