1 Person Killed in Carlotta Crash on Highway 36 near Swimmer’s Delight Park Drive
Carlotta, California (December 20, 2020) – One person was killed in a traffic accident on Sunday afternoon in Carlotta, authorities said.
The deadly single-vehicle accident transpired at about 2:28 p.m. on Highway 36 near Swimmer’s Delight Park Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was allegedly driving recklessly on the highway before the accident.
First responders reportedly arrived at the scene and located the vehicle 50 feet off the highway.

One person sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
One-way-traffic control was briefly set up in the area. The highway was fully reopened at 3:29 p.m.
