Carlotta, California (June 3, 2019) – A child was possibly injured in a traffic crash that involved two vehicles in Carlotta Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 3:52 p.m. June 1, at Highway 36 and the Golden Gate Drive intersection.

The collision involved a Nissan Titan and a truck  which collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. Due to the impact of the crash, the Titan sustained significant front-end damage.

A child was found shaken up at the site by medical teams who arrived shortly after the collision. The victim was reported to have been sustained major injuries in the wreck. The identity and the current condition of the victim have not yet been released thus far.

The crash remains under an active investigation.
