At Least 1 Injured in Capitola Crash on Park Avenue at Highway 1
Capitola, California (July 17, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a head-on collision that left at least one person injured on Wednesday morning in Capitola, Santa Cruz County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 6:44 a.m. Wednesday on Park Avenue at Highway 1.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to one person who complained of pain to their chest and neck as a result of the crash. The party was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The name of the victim and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
