2 Injured, 1 Airlifted after Cajon Pass Crash on Interstate 15 near Highway 138

Cajon Pass, California (January 26, 2019) – Two people were injured Saturday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision in the Cajon Pass, according to a local news source.
The wreck, which was reported at around 3:20 p.m., happened on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway, about one mile north of Highway 138.
The California Highway Patrol said a white Chevy Caprice was driving reckless at high speeds and going in and out of traffic when it slammed into a silver Ford SUV.
One person was ejected from their vehicle after the impact.
One victim was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center while a second person sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital.
Southbound traffic was closed while H325 landed on the freeway.
No additional information regarding the crash was immediately provided.
CHP is investigating the accident.
