One Person Killed in Cajon Pass Truck Crash on 15 Freeway near Highway 138
Cajon Pass, California (May 31, 2019) – One person was killed in a traffic collision between a truck and a semi on Thursday night in Cajon Pass, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened just before 7:53 p.m. May 30, on 15 Freeway near Highway 138.
CHP said a Turquoise-colored semi truck and a white Ford F-150 were involved. The pickup reportedly slammed into the center divider before crashing into the back of the semi truck on northbound 15 Freeway for unknown reasons.

The driver of the pickup was pinned inside the truck and was extricated by the firefighters. Paramedics performed life-saving measures on the driver but the driver died of the injuries at the scene.
The big rig driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
