Butte County, California (December 30, 2020) – One person was killed early Wednesday morning in a traffic accident in Butte County, according to a local news source.
The deadly crash happened shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Highway 70 near Highway 149, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, a vehicle was heading southbound on Highway 70 when, for unknown reasons, it drifted off the roadway and overturned several times into an embankment.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced the driver dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
