Buellton, CA: Driver Injured in Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Highway 101
Motorist Hospitalized after Buellton Crash on Highway 101 near Highway 154 Interchange
Buellton, California (March 23, 2021) – A driver was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon following a single-vehicle rollover crash north of Buellton, according to a local news source.
The accident happened just after 4:30 p.m. on Highway 101, just south of the Highway 154 interchange, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, a grey car was traveling southbound on Highway 101 when, for unknown reasons, it veered about 150 feet off the roadway and rolled over before coming to rest on its roof.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the driver who was trapped in the overturned vehicle. The patient was then taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
The right lane of the southbound lane of Highway 101 was closed due to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
